At the invitation of our college, Professor Su Jiabao of Capital Normal University visited our college on May 31, and made an academic report entitled "Nontrivial Solutions for P-Laplacian Equations via Morse Theory" in the Conference Room 602. Yang Weihua, Deputy Head of our college presided over the lecture, and more than 40 teachers and postgraduates from the Department of Mathematics attended the lecture.
In the report, Professor Su Jiabao introduced the study of the existence and multiplicity of solutions of p-Laplacian equation with "concave" perturbations only under the subcritical global hypothesis via Morse theory. In addition, Professor Su Jiabao shared his experience in scientific research with the teachers and students participating in the lecture.
